Nicole Alexandropoulos 

Nicole Alexandropoulou was born in Greece and grew up in Rome. 



History of Art Studies (Sapienza University- Roma)
Visual Communication with specialization in photography at the Insituto Europeo di Design

Professional experience in Italy. 

From 1992-2002 he collaborated as a photographer, with the agencies Photomovie and Sigma coporation of America for the largest Italian magazines and was a regular partner of the Mondadori and Rizzoli publishing groups making portraits of many personalities of worldwide reputation from cinema, politics, art and culture such as Rudolph Nureyev, Mikis Theodorakis, Monica Bellucci, Philippe Glas, Harrison Ford, Mickey Rourke, Giovanotti, Romano Prodi, John King, Silvio Berlusconi and many others. 

She collaborated as a director, with RAI 3 for a series of documentaries on "Dietro le quinte" (back stage of famous photographic sessions) 

In 2000, the fiction short film “I Fantastici Boors “ won the first Trani-italia 1st Short Film Award, 1st Capalbio Short Film Award. 

Personal director assistant to Marco Bellochio and Paulo Virzi. 2008 - Writing fiction scenario for RAI fiction-La tempest
She has taken part in many group exhibitions of photography. 

Professional experience in Greece 

N.A is the legal representative of the film production company Libellula Productions Ltd. 

In 2007 a solo exhibition of photography entitled "Melancholy" at the "Technopolis" of the Municipality of Athens. 



coproduced and directed the documentary "Once in a lifetime" on the life of music producer Yiannis Petridis. (Athens Premiere Nights Festival, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Patras Festival, Luxembourg Festival, Rome Festival, Brussels Festival) Distribution to cinemas by STRADA. 



Co-writing a mini-series of 6 episodes and under the title "Dr. Pap” to be produced by for ERT SA(national greek tv) 



Director and producer of 24 documentaries of 50’ for ERT SA(national tv) titled "From Thorn comes a Rose". 

Special jury award -London Greek Festival for the documentary film "Second Life" 

Participation in the committee (2014-2017) for a annual festival of Greek documentary "Me ta matia anoixta" Technopolis –municipality of Athens. 



Feature film titled "Billy Beau" inspired by the life of Billy Bo (Greek fashion designer of ‘80’s-aids victim) 

(in preproduction). 

Nicole Alexandropoulos periodically writes for the journal site Member of the Board of the Hellenic Documentary Union.
